Yes, only the owner of the boat can insure it.
If your boat has joint/multiple owners, we can add more than one name to our policies to include anyone who has a financial interest in the boat.
NOTE: Policies cannot be transferred between owners. Once the boat has been sold, the original policy would need to be cancelled and the new owner can start a new policy for the boat.
